LA Fashion Week March 2007

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week: LA @ Smashbox Studios was once again a great time. I've been shooting the event for quite a while now and it is always good to see fellow photographers and shoot the runway once again. In 5 days I shot 21 shows as well as some backstage. Friends at The Roxy

Robin and I got a rare date night (the boys were in good hands) and went to be with some good friends at The Roxy in Hollywood. The occasion was a birthday party for "Perez Hilton" - a gossip powerhouse of a guy. The entertainment was 4 different bands - with guest performances by the likes of Dave Navarro and others. The headline event was a performance by the legendary Dita Von Teese in an amazing costume, birdcage, feathers and beauty. It was a little strange to not be shooting officially but nevertheless I don't go anywhere without my point-and-shoot. Some quick shots:
