Way back in 1995 I had the great pleasure of meeting my beautiful wife Robin. We were introduced by a mutual friend - Dita Von Teese. Over the years Dita has gone on to become world famous - stage performances worldwide, spokesmodel for MAC Glam cosmetics, clothed by the top fashion designers in the world. Robin went on to be my precious bride and the mother of three great sons. They have stayed close friends and last Wednesday Robin got a call to join Dita in a girls day out. 
The day was being filmed for CNN's "The Scene" featuring celebrities favorite places to visit.
They started the day with a helicopter ride to Catalina Island.

The highlight was getting a private tour of the Avalon Casino ballroom.
They then rode the ferry back to Long beach and got to board the Queen Mary for an exclusive look at some of the features of that great ship. They were treated to a viewing of Winston Churchill's stateroom and of The Queen's Salon.
It was a great day out for Robin and well deserved as she works so hard raising the kids and putting up with me.
